About Painting Tech
A painting company. Just painting — done with careful prep and a clean finish.
Painters for Northern Utah
Painting Tech is owned by Alex Bustillos, based in West Point, Utah, and paints homes and businesses across Salt Lake, Davis, Weber, and Summit counties. We handle interior and exterior painting, cabinet painting and refinishing, deck and fence staining, and commercial painting.
Utah is hard on paint. Intense high-altitude UV fades exteriors years faster than at sea level, the dry air changes how paint cures, and freeze-thaw cycles punish south- and west-facing walls. We choose products and schedule work with that in mind, inside and out.
What to Expect
- Free, written estimates. We walk the space, talk through colors and sheens, and put the scope in writing before any work begins.
- Prep first. Patching, caulking, sanding, and spot-priming so the finish coat lays down evenly instead of flashing.
- Premium paint. Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore products chosen for Utah's high-altitude sun and dry air.
- Clean job sites. Furniture moved and covered, floors and fixtures masked, and cleanup at the end of every day.
